Don't ask, Don't tell, Don't give a shit. "We all are equal"

While every American knows about the policy of "don't ask, don't tell", it is clear that this issue in the gay community is more important than in straight community. This is understandable because in all reality gay people are the minority in society and the greater needs of the country doesn't focus around being gay.

Surprisingly, this policy affected my career in the adult industry. Many people think of the industry in a negative way, and I will be honest I have my moments also. There is a negative connotation against most people who do porn, escort and go-go dance because they have no other skills; or basically because they are such screw ups in life that nobody would hire them. I have definitely met my fair share of people that fit this criteria, but there are many that are not only good at sex. (or what amazing editing skills can create into good sex)

What I find to be an even more of a rarity is that somebody in the industry has their bachelors degree. I can only think of three people who have done this at this point, myself being one of them. Most people don't know this but I have my Bachelors degree in Geography with an Area of Specialization in Satellites and Mapping with a minor in Meteorology.

When I graduated from college I thought about serving in the Air Force. I took a test (AFOQT) to see if I qualified to be an officer, and went through all the medical steps(MEPS) and meet with officers and did everything in the application process. Then one great day in the spring of 2008 I received a letter telling the that I had been accepted to attend Officers Training School(OTS) and upon completion I would be an officer in the United States Air Force.

At that point in my life I was not out to many people, only a few friends. I knew I was gay, but what was holding my back from joining the military was a fear that one day I could not be who I felt I was in my heart. When I made the decision about my future I made it in largely based upon the don't ask, don't tell policy.

While I can not speculate whether I would have successfully completed my officer training, this policy had a great influence in deciding my future. I am continuing the pursuit of my masters degree, and I am in an industry that I currently have no regrets about being a part of. I can't help but wonder how different my life would be if the United States military would have allowed me to live a lifestyle that was found acceptable.

On a side note I think I would look good as a Marine, and there A LOT of military men that are missing out on some fun with me!!!

Miles Flown.

Well the deadline for me free porn contest was January 20th, and I had over 2,000 entries for the contest. Some people came close and others were so far off it was sad.

The total miles I flew last year was 183,172 miles. One person came within 172 miles of that number, not a bad guess.

I had over 750 email where the guess was below 25,000. My two trips to Australia last year totaled over 25,000 miles.

Normalicy vs. Reality

I just got back from having a very nice relaxing cruise in the Caribbean. This is not my first cruise by any means, the past two cruises I have been on have been on have been awkward for me. My normal day involves gay people in gay places, but when I am on a cruise with what I will call normal society I am not in my typical surroundings. I am not saying what society should call "normal" or "abnormal", but lets face it, gay people are not the majority of the population.

When I am in NY I spend a lot of time in Chelsea and when I am in LA I spend most of my time in WEHO. I have become accustomed to living in a world where being gay is normal for me, but once I travel outside of my comfort zone I start to feel awkward.

I went on this cruise with my girl Amy, and one night we painted my toe nails. The polish is clear, but when it gets rays from the sun the clear polish turns into a ruby red. It was a fun thing to do, but as I was on the beach I couldn't help but feel like people were looking at me with a "what the hell" sort of expression. While I really don't give a damn what other people think, it still make me realize that how I live my life on a normal basis is not exactly how everybody lives.

My cruise has brought me to one of the gay mecas though. I am in Fort Lauderdale for the next 5 days doing some filming and getting back to living the life most straight people wish they could live.

There is one There is one thing that I must admit. I am one big flaming Disney FREAK. I love going to the Disney parks. I think this is because I can act like a child and nobody really notices.

Sine my last update I have been quite a busy girl. I went to Palm Springs Pride with a web site called Manhunt.net. Palm Spring Pride was fun, but I started feeling Ill while I was there.

Right now I am in LA enjoying the semi warm weather, it's warmer than NY, but still so fucking cold.

I am in New York the week before Christmas, and I am home in Saint Louis for the holidays.

We have to admit that we were a little surprised when we heard you were signed as a Raging Stallion exclusive. We don't mean to be entirely blunt, but you’re a lot smaller-framed and smoother than their usual models. Does this signal a new direction for you or the studio?


Well, yes, you are right. I am nothing like the typical Raging Stallion model. Raging Stallion is not going in a new direction, but Raging Stallion is expanding their market range. With that said, that's why they signed me to the exclusive contract. Compared to most of the Raging Stallion models I would be be called a twink, for many reasons. I am smaller framed and much less muscular than most of the men. And unlike any other exclusive they have, I can not grow any facial hair.

We wrote a post a while back about your feelings on the future of gay sex. Do you really think there will be a day when guys can fuck freely without any risks?

I still believe what I said in the HX Magazine interview; one day we will be able to have sex without any risks. I say this hoping that new diseases will not develop and that with our technological advances and practicing safe sex, we'll be able to stop the spread of STDs. I am always very safe in my sexual practices, and I have never had and STD. If we all take the time to try and be safe, we can make a big change.


So you were at one of MANHUNT’s recent pool parties. Did anything naughty happen that we didn’t see? What’s the wildest thing you’ve done off camera?

The MANHUNT party that I attended was a blast. I never though a house pool party could be so much fun, but it's MANHUNT so I should have expected an amazing party. Plus, with me being there, you know there's going to be a party. There wasn't a whole lot of debauchery going on that I was able to see. It was a very fun and relaxed party.

In my time escorting, I have had some high-profile clients, but the great thing about high-profile clients is they want to be treated like regular people. Just because they have a great career or a lot of money, that doesn't change who they are to me. Yes, money does make a difference in the world today, but in my eyes if they are rude and obnoxious, they are not worth my time.
As far as embarrassing stories go, how about this one? I'm currently flying to my Los Angeles home in first class, and the person sitting next to me was a client from about four months ago when I was at my New York apartment. It's not really an embarrassing story, but its funny how small the world is.

Aside from “Ryan Raz”, what’s your porn name? You know, using the ol' first pet plus street you grew up on equation.

Aside from Ryan Raz, my other name would be Annie Saint Clair. I think that would make a good drag name. If I ever decide to go that route, that's the name that I will stick with.

What would fans be surprised to learn about you?

A lot of people are surprised to hear that I have a bachelor's degree in Geography with an area of specialization in Satelites and Mapping. A good portion of boys in the industry haven't finished or even started their bachelor's. I even started my master's degree focusing on International Relations, but in January I was diagnosed with rectal cancer and took some time off of school. I should be starting back with my master's degree this January.

New Movie
