Hong Kong

I have always had a great sense for adventure and exploration. 

I have been to China twice before, but only to Beijing and Xi'an. When I kept thinking about what to do for New Years I wanted something different.  it came down to a few options, but ultimately I decided to go to Hong Kong with a friend of mine.  

I love fit there.  It was a great mix of East meets West.  It reminded me a lot of Sydney and the UK.  I am guessing the UK part is because Hong Kong was wince a British colony.

As in most of China you can go to markets.  In many of these markets there are a lot of places to eat.  There is no way to compare these street restaurants to anything that you would see in the US.  

When you order by simply pointing to pictures in the menu you can't help but wonder what the conditions are like in the kitchen.  The area around isn't the most enticing and upscale.  But alas, if hundreds of people can eat there every day and be fine so can I.  I did have a few beers, after all, alcohol kills germs.  

I love going to the Disney parks, and Honk Kong had a park open there about 5 years ago.  It was a great experience to be able to go there.  The only park that I have left to visit is the one in Tokyo.  They are also currently building one in Shanghai, but that will not be open for 3 more years. 

Travel 2011

If you follow me on twitter (@Ryan_Raz) or look at my travel schedule on my blog you can easily see that I do quite a bit of traveling.  Some people dread it, but i always seem to thrive on it.  I rarely take a lot of time to think about that places I have been, but it seems that I am always planning my next big adventure.  

My mind works in interesting ways. I am constantly looking at things and trying to calculate and compute different variables and values to my activities.  because of those I have some fun facts and figures that you may like to know about me this past year.  

Least year I flew 200,526 miles, somehow I had managed to have them all on sky team airlines.  

I went to 12 different countries located on three different continents. I got confused on where I have been and where I want to go so I have put up a dry erase board with a world map printed on it so I can effectively mark where I want to go and where I have been. Not to mention I also marked out the places that I do not want to go. For some reason the middle east and a large section of Africa are void of any and all interest. 

I spent 222 nights in a bed other than my own. That means for very three nights I only averaged one of those nights in my bed. 

For the year I paid roughly $18,000 in rent, mainly because from February to July I was paying rent on two locations until my move out of NYC was complete.  So for those nights that I was home I was essentially paying $126 a night to stay in my own place.  Seems I may just be better off living out of a hotel.  I actually know a few people that have some that for a few years, and it seemed to work for them well. 

As I write this on my flight form Shanghai to Tokoyo on my way back to my own bed in STL I realize that the first 19 days of this year I will spend just one night in my own bed. 

As I constantly seem to be looking forward I am already thinking about all of my travels in 2012.  I have a lot of great things in the works, but I am not sure if I can top 2011.  I am definitely going to try, but even if I do not come close to as many adventures I know that I still have enough planned to continue to keep my parents head spinning and wondering what time zone I am in.

When I was recently asked to review seven oversized anal toys from BoyzShop, my hole delighted at the prospect of some serious stretching. If God could create the world in seven days, I figured I could at least review seven sex toys during the same period of time!

With sex toys, it's best to start small. And even though these were all jumbo toys, I thought theLarge Anal Beads would be the perfect item to warm up with on day one. I was right, but as I got down to the last few beads, it became harder to insert and remove them. A base on the end made things very user-friendly, but it was still tough to reach when I got to the last beads. This would be the perfect toy for a top and a bottom to use together, in order to make things easier.

On days two and three I tried out the medium and the large-sized Three Bumps For Your Rumptoy. They're basically identical except for their size. The medium model does have a smaller tip, so getting it in and then working it down to the base was definitely easier. However, with the larger model I really liked the stretching sensation the bumps provided as I worked my way down. There’s also a third, smaller size if that’s more your speed.

On the fourth day, I tried a toy that was unlike any I’d ever tried before – a Giant Inflatable Dildo with rigid internal core.  I had used tapered toys before, but I had never tried a toy that could actually increase its girth while it was inside me. In order to get the dildo in, I had to have it completely deflated – and it felt like I was trying to insert something with a thick, loose plastic bag around it! But once that was accomplished, it was definitely interesting to blow it up and to feel it growing larger inside me. Overall, I found it uncomfortable to insert and it didn't provide the type of arousal that I usually prefer when using a toy solo. However, it would probably be just the ticket for some people.

On the fifth day, it was time for the toy that I was most excited to try – the Super Manly Cock and Balls Dildo. It's definitely not a toy for beginners. I was able to slowly ease the toy in, and after that I had no problems. The great thing about this toy is the consistent size and feel. In general, I like a toy that doesn't have deep ridges or drastic changes in thickness, so this one was great. It was long enough for me to fuck myself with it and the suction cup base made it easy to sit on and to ride.

On the sixth day, I was ready to try The Hand. I must admit – this wasn't the first time that I had used this particular toy. If you like getting fisted, then this is the toy for you. It mimics the shape and size of a hand, and the arm is long enough to allow you to easily control the depth and level of penetration.

On the seventh day, God may have rested – but I certainly didn't! That was when I finally gave The Master Cock a chance at my hole. It was the largest toy I had ever used, and the fact that I was even able to get it inside me felt like an accomplishment. I got the first part of the head in, but once I got to the thick part at the tip it popped right in and I blew my load before I even realized that I was cumming!  It was definitely a very intense feeling.

If I could list the top 5 things that I dislike about the human race, one of them would definitely have to be stupid people. Falling in this category for me are those people that feel the need to protest homosexuality.

If you are reading this then you know that being gay isn't a choice, its just the way I am. If you disagree with that I beg you to do a swan dive off a freeway overpass.

I detest the abundance of stupidity that is allowed to happen all over the world, but in all reality many of these people are just a simple result of their upraising. If you are raised by ignorant people, then your chances of becoming ignorant by default is obviously greater.

While I do not agree with what these protestors have to say, I love the fact that they are able to say it. One of the many things that makes this country great is the fact that we have the right to express our opinions when ever we want to. In too many places in the world people are told what they are or are not allowed to express. If these people, as ignorant as they maybe, want to stand there and tell me how I am wrong then thats fine. As long as they are not being violent or causing harm to anybody, then I will fully support their right to protest.

When reading the most recent issue of Frontiers magazine there was an interview with Connor Habib. I don’t think that anyone that knows Conner can argue with the fact that he is an extremely well educated man. The fact that he has a face that is undeniably sexy doesn’t hurt also.

In the article Conner as asked his advice to people entering the industry. His response was:

“Make sure it fits into the context of your life. When you ask a sex worker about what they do, you’ll get one of two responses. There’s the ashamed response, “Well, I used to do that, but now I am building a life for myself and leaving that behind.” Or there’s the “Yeah, fuck you, so what?” defense response. “

If you are taking the time to read my rants then I am hoping that you at least know a little bit about me. In the off chance that you stumbled on this page and have no clue who the hell I am here is what you need to know. I am a retired porn star who is still active in the porn industry and currently still a sex worker. I travel doing a lot of events for porn and sex toy companies and I also do a lot of planning and events for rentboy.com.

Being an active sex worker for four years now I definitely know what Conner is talking about in this part of the interview. I have never been ashamed or denied that I have been a part of the sex industry. While you may not agree that sex work is real work, I beg to differ. The money that I have made the past four years I’ve declared on my taxes and I have paid taxes on every penny that I can recall making the past four years. Trust me this has not been an easy thing to do, especially because I am responsible for withholding my own money to pay my taxes at the end of the year.

While four years is not a large time span in the normal work force, in the porn world it is a lifetime. Every year that passes it becomes harder and harder to make a living as a sex worker. The general philosophy that me and my roommate Austin Wilde have decided upon is that if you are able to make it one year you are doing something right. If you are able to make it two years and by some grace of god have not wound up in jail or rehab then you may actually have a good head on your shoulders. If you are able to make it three years then you are probably perfectly jaded, and in the chance you can make it to year four then you can easily be a permanent fixture in the world of sex workers.

Connor and I have been around long enough that I am sure we could easily be permanent fixtures. I am extremely happy with my life right now and while I know that I cannot be a sex worker for the rest of my life, I do not see my current lifestyle changing any time soon.
